Les Disques Bongo Joe are are pleased to announce the first physical release of Istanbul based trio Oldu O Zaman ! With these two tracks, Sigarasi Yaldizli / Mastika, the band pays homage to Anatolian psychedelic golden age with adding some modern influences. You can download the two singles now, follow the link bellow !

Cansu Ak, Tolga Horasanli and Mehmet Koray Erol came together in 2019 to produce their own music with creating the band Oldu O Zaman. After a first digital release with Avrupa Müzik, the trio decided to go deeper in their cultural heritage with covering and arranging Turkish traditional well-known folk songs with psychedelic and electronic elements to create a unique sound with their own touch. The 7'' gathers Sigarasi Yaldizli a famous tavern song and a well known Turkish gipsy song Mastika hacked with some electronic tocuhes. Be careful, this material is pure banger !
